The Kolb's theory of Experiential learning explains the 4 stages of learning ie the concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualisation and active experimentation. This the theory also explain the 4 types of learning styles.
Unltimately, learning takes place when the subject taught is meaningful and relevant to the learner and the teacher must facilitate effectively.
